On November 25, 2013, Xilingol Branch of Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medical Hospital was established. Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medical Hospital identified Xilinguole Branch of Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medical Hospital as Xilinguole Branch of Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medical Hospital. It is to optimize the allocation of resources between Ximeng Mongolian Medical Hospital and Xilinhot People's Hospital, and set up a national hospital which combines medical treatment, scientific research and teaching, and assumes all the functions of the original two hospitals. According to the design criteria of tertiary hospitals, the total investment of the new hospital is 460 million yuan, with 500 beds, occupying 81,000 square meters and building area of 56,000 square meters. The new hospital has reached the construction criteria of "tertiary first-class" Mongolian medical hospitals, creating good conditions for giving full play to the advantages of Mongolian medicine.

At the listing ceremony, the Health Department of the Autonomous Region signed a framework agreement with the Federation Administration to promote the development of Mongolian traditional Chinese medicine in Xilingol League; the Inner Mongolia International Mongolian Medical Hospital, the General Staff Hospital of the 309th Hospital of the People's Liberation Army, the Oriental Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Ximeng Mongolian Medical Hospital signed a counterpart support and tie-up agreement.
